It Has Begun

I think it’s a clear sign of climate changing that most of the early spring bloomers appear already in February and it seems to me earlier every year. In former times sometimes you could watch them early as well after a mild winter, but nowadays it is regularly to find a lot of flowers already in the second month of the year – like this pasqueflower (Pulsatilla grands) in the east of Austria.
