Short after the ice has gone from the floodplain pools the Moor Frogs (Rana arvalis wolterstorffi) begin their reproduction business. There are noisy guys in the water waiting for the girls to come. As there is a spillover of blue colored and quite active males their calls can already be heard from a distance. Love is in the air.
