Forest Keeper

The Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius) is collecting acorns for its winter stocks. Eating many of them but also hiding them in the surrounding area is very important for keeping up the forest. The bird doesn’t relocate all of the seeds and so new trees begin to grow next spring.
