Sometimes the most fascinating things aren’t the biggest eye-catchers. While hiking through the Everglades during dry-season you come along many interesting things. Alligators, snakes, panthers, black bears, orchids and bromeliads in bloom, a lot of birds either hunting or breeding and so on. But sometimes when walking through the lush forests of the Everglades it is one of those tiny things that attract your attention most. Like this rat-snake.
When being down on your belly and coming close to this snake you need to be fascinated by its eyes!
