Golden Plover

The Golden Plover is a typical breeding bird of the northern hemisphere. Its breeding area reaches from Iceland to Siberia and touches the arctic Tundra. In Iceland people celebrate the „return of spring“ when the Golden Plover arrives. On migration it is a rare guest in Tyrol and I could watch and photograph this bird for a few times.
