Hidden Gem

Sally lightfoot crabs (Grapsus grapsus) are extremely common along the coasts of the Galápagos Islands. Unlike most other animals on the islands, they are wary of human presence. I took this photo when I finally found an individual that was more relaxed and preferred to stay in its crevice instead of running away.
