2020Honey-Bee
Early bloomers are the first source of food for the bees and therefor very important to keep up these insects. It seems to me that spring starts earlier every year in our region maybe due to climate change. This year bees flew already beginning of February on warm afternoons, but these were only cleaning flights. My image shows a Western Honeybee collecting pollen from Crocus tommasinanus.
