Snow driftIn mid-January the first sunlight after a few weeks of darkness hits the tunturis (mountains) of Finnish lapland again. Only for a few moments the sun gently touches the surface before wandering below the horizon again. If there are clear skies this is by far one of the most impressive moments up far north. This picture shows a huge snow bank backlit by the very last sunlight of this short day.
