I had an amazing experience with a Red-Backed Shrike watching the bird catching prey and storing it on the thorns of a bush. But it was intersting that the bird took among a lot of insects also larger animals like mice, what I have watched only with Larger Grey Shrike. It was an unbelievable power of the bird to put the animals on the spit and feeding on them.
