2015Perito Moreno
The Perito Moreno Glacier was named after the explorer Francisco Moreno, a pioneer who studied southern Patagonia in the 19th century. The 250 square kilometers ice formation with a length of 30 km is one of the big glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. The Perito Moreno Glacier is one of only three Patagonian glaciers that is still growing!
