Rare sight

It took a few nights out in the bog and some kilometers of walking to finally find our first wild forest reindeer. The only ones that are still roaming Europe can be found south of the arctic circle in Finland and Russia. To prevent crossbreeding with domestic reindeer which is very common further north from the arctic circle a fence is running all the way through Finland!
