The Snake‘s head (Fritillaria meleagrisis) can be found only in very few places in Austria. In Großsteinbach, in the south of Styria, it was very dry this year and the flowers couldn’t develop as well as usual. Some beautiful specimens were there nevertheless.

Die Schachblume (Fritillaria meleagris) kommt in Österreich nur an sehr wenigen Orten vor. In Großsteinbach, im Süden der Steiermark, war es dieses Jahr sehr trocken, und die Blumen konnten sich nicht so gut entwickeln wie üblich. Einige schöne Exemplare waren trotzdem mit dabei.
