I’ve spent quite some time on Mt. Stromboli, an active volcano in southern Italy. However, this explosion – I can tell you – was impressive! Roughly 120 m of height reached this glowing beauty. Like with all other nature phenomena explosions on Stromboli can not be quaranteed. Right the other day I again spent the evening at the crater but that night the volcano remained silent and there was not a single explosion the whle night…
