World of Wisdom

To spot an owl is always a very special moment for me. Especially since these encounters are extremely rare. Their calmness towards humans is fascinating. For me, it seems, that these animals don’t have to be scared of us, because they just always know everything what will happen, due to their wisdom. And so, they know when they have to leave. And because of this calmness, I went for this wide angle shot, also showing this beautiful spring tree, where the bird rests all day. I love how the owl looks at me on this particular image while its ears wave in the strong winds. And we both know, it’s her land, not mine and I’m honored, she accepts my careful presence.
